The husband and wife team of Brown & Leberknight have been joining forces to produce creative content for almost a decade. Their varied talents, on and off camera, as well as their varied professional backgrounds provide a full range of expertise during the production process. Both are committed to serving the needs of others while pushing the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and communication. Together they are an unmatchable duo that is capable of handling all aspects of a project from concept to completion.

Jill Leberknight

An entertainment and theater professional with almost 30 years of experience in performance and production Jill Leberknight now brings her talent and story craft to corporate, non-profit, and educational organizations. Jill has provided consultation for & co-ordinated unique and innovative marketing and development projects for educational, non-profit, and corporate entities as well as directed and produced successful events at multiple venues including the largest fundraising sporting clay shoot in U.S History, held in Liberty Hill in 2008 for Austin TX non-profit, Wonders & Worries.

Jill is skilled and trained in the art of communicating and believes that we all have a basic need to hear and share stories. A well crafted and effective story or event that uses compelling imagery, video, music, or what she likes to call an “experiential happening” can dramatically underscore the mission of an organization’s work and build lasting impressions in the minds of potential clients or donors.

With proven business savvy, a recognized Top Producing Real Estate Agent with Austin’s largest Brokerage firm Keller Williams Realty, Jill Leberknight approaches each project with a desire to uncover its unique story and communicate that story in innovative and visceral ways.

Damon Brown

Damon is a filmmaker and television producer with a few awards that he keeps misplacing at the house. He is currently serving as a writer, co-producer, director, and performer on a long-running, Emmy award winning PBS musical television series called “The Biscuit Brothers” which he also co-created.

Damon’s feature length documentary entitled “Burning Man: Beyond Black Rock” premiered at the American Film Institute Festival to hold-over audiences – including a number of folk in freaky headgear. He was also a writer and director for the media project SubstanceTV, producing documen­taries, features, and artist profiles. His feature subjects included: (among others) beat poet Robert Creeley, the launch of musical group The Polyphonic Spree, and author Daniel Quinn. He co-directed news magazine features with subject matter ranging from the terrorist attacks of 9/11 to WEF protests of the early 21st century.

His career in film and television stretches back decades and includes work with regional non-profits, political campaigns, and national organizations like the Children’s Miracle Network.

Damon continues to create film, television and stage properties while based out of Austin, Texas – usually at his own house. He often works with his wife and his college roommate on projects and receives valuable feedback from his five-year-old son.
